Your earlier blogged commentaries on the health reform process make the issues and details clearer than anything I've seen or heard yet and should be read far and wide.

I agree that meaningful health reform is imperative and possible even without the public option that I and my British-born husband very much favor. Alas, a single payer system is a future dream enjoyed now by our aging aunt, brothers and numerous cousins, nephews and neices in the UK, who express great satisfaction with their treatments for cancers, hip replacements, retinal detachments and other conditions.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06215627839862842343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-464650663297128977.post-51273981764556158052009-08-29T23:15:48.382-04:002009-08-29T23:15:48.382-04:00I wasn't aware of this site, Kat. Most people were respectful listeners and if you were in the audience you had a chance to hear Moran's point of view. Please don't think all American's are fooled by her. Most of us think she is a joke, but a dangerous one for our country if she ever gets into office because
she will be in way over that head.
For myself, I care about the issues and the problems facing my country and my family not how she flirts or whatever. For this thinking American she is sadly lacking.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-464650663297128977.post-77086582861677047602008-10-07T07:57:00.000-04:002008-10-07T07:57:00.000-04:00What a wonderful post! Obama is being helped by fast-growing communities in the Washington, D.C., suburbs of Northern Virginia, which tend to vote more Democratic than other parts of the state.

One of those areas is Arlington, Va., where John McCain owns a condominium.

"This was Joe McCain's unsuccessful attempt at humor," said McCain campaign spokeswoman Gail Gitcho.
